Valerie Concepcion Bronze Makeup (Jlo inspired tutorial)

Let’s give a warm welcome to my friend Valerie Concepcion here at Beautylista! I met Val several years ago while my husband was still playing for San Miguel Corp., ever since then, we have remained friends. She has an effervescent personality, but above all, she is real and kind. She just came from a recent surfing trip and her skin was darker than usual, her skin was sun kissed which perfectly matched her hair color. I am so happy she agreed to be my first celebrity guest at beautylista. I asked her if she had a preferred look for the make-up tutorial, and without any hesitation, she said Jlo!!! Why not? She’s hot, bronze, and beautiful, just like her idol Jlo! 🙂 Thank you also to my hairstylist, Mycke Arcano, for creating her beautiful undone waves! So ladies and gents, I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I enjoyed putting this together. I hope you learn a thing or two from this tutorial, I especially showed the viewers how I put on an eyelid tape and stack double lashes together! Enjoy!!! 🙂

Peace and Love

“Give a woman the right lipstick and she can conquer the world.” Don’t you agree? A great lipstick color can boost your confidence and uplift your mood. Make-up, like fashion, is an outlet of self-expression – and that’s one of the best things I love about it! I usually pick my lipstick color depending on my mood. Here are 10 lipstick shades for every woman’s mood:

1) Red

It is a make-up essential to own a gorgeous red lipstick. If you want to feel confident, red is the color for you. I love a true vivid red that screams sexy! It is also the perfect color to achieve the classic Hollywood glam look.

2) Nude

I wear a nude lip color when I’m sporting smokey eyes, or when I want to downplay my make up yet still look fresh. A nude lip color can lean on the pink, coral, or brown side. Find one that complements your skin tone, not too light that will make you look as pale as a ghost.

3) Burgundy

Everyone needs a good deep red lipstick. When you want to feel sophisticated, use this color. It is perfect when paired with sleek hair, and winged liner.

4) Pink

If you feel dainty and fresh, go for a pink color that matches your skin tone. Pink has a way of making us look youthful and healthy, especially when paired with matching pink blush.

5) Coral

When the sun is out and its warm rays glimmer outdoors, coral is the way to go. It totally makes sense to match your lippie to the weather!

6) Neon Pink

When you are feeling extra happy and cheerful, wear a bright or neon pink lipstick! You will be walking as bright as the sunshine, do not be surprised if everyone you meet flashes you a smile!

7) Black

When the weather outside is gloomy and you feel emo, why not channel your inner Kylie and wear a black lipstick? Wear it with confidence, and transform your mood from gloomy to fierce!

8) Deep Plum

Tired of making a statement with the red lipstick? If you are feeling rebellious, go for a deep plum color. It is eye catching, yet still fun and pretty to wear! It is a very versatile color, it can take you from day to night!

9) Brown

When you feel like going for the 90’s vibe, wear a brown lipstick. For this color, I like the texture to be ultra matte. If you’re feeling extra fun, wear it with a choker!

10) My Lips but Better (MLBB)

When you’re not in the mood to put on make-up or simply have no time to curate an elaborate make-up look, grab your MLBB lippie. This kind of lipstick is close to your natural lip color. I like mine sheer and moisturizing, something that just enhances and brightens my natural lip color.
